● Breakfast in Sarandë
This is generally a relaxing day.
The day begins in Sarandë with a simple breakfast and preparation for departure towards the northern coastal area of the region.
We wake up at Hasta La Vista hostel and have a coffee at the hostel.
The hostel does not offer breakfast, so we will try a traditional byrek from the local bakeries, accompanied by a drinkable yogurt (dhallë).
This is a simple breakfast, meant to experience the everyday lifestyle of the local residents.
A full traditional breakfast awaits us later in the village of Nivicë-Bubar, just a few kilometers from the city.
● Departure towards Kakome
We depart from Sarandë towards Kakome Bay.
● Monastery of Kakome
Visit to Monastery of Kakome, located in an isolated area with an open view of the Ionian Sea.
To reach it, we first travel 20 minutes by car, then walk approximately 20 minutes, and the same on the way back.
We do not enter the beach area, but enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of the place.
We visit the Monastery of Kakome and the Church of Saint Mary inside the monastery.
● Albanian Breakfast / Brunch in Nivicë
A stop for brunch in the village of Nivicë-Bubar, in a rural setting surrounded by mountains and untouched nature.
● Panoramic stop
A short stop at a “bella vista” viewpoint to admire the landscape of the Albanian Riviera, near the small Church of Saint Nifon.
● Olive Oil Tour – Lukovë
Visit to a local olive oil promotion and tasting point in Lukovë.
How could we touch the essence of the Mediterranean without tasting extra virgin olive oil by the sea, from centuries-old olive trees?
In southern Albania there are many production facilities, but this is a specialized location for tasting and high-quality presentation.
The product is certified by the EU and exported to countries such as Switzerland, Sweden, and Canada.
Here we will have a professional presentation and a full olive oil tasting experience.
● Old village of Lukovë
Walk through the old part of Lukovë, one of the most picturesque villages in Albania.
Stone-paved streets, flowers in courtyards and balconies, over 200-year-old houses, the Church of Saint Friday, and centuries-old olive trees create an authentic and unforgettable atmosphere.
Walking through this village is a calm yet magical experience.
● Early Dinner – Nivicë
Return for an early dinner in the area of Nivicë-Bubar, with traditional local food.
● Double Sunset
Lekuresi Castle & Monastery of the Forty Saints
The sunset begins at Lekuresi Castle, above the city of Sarandë.
The full sunset is experienced at the Monastery of the Forty Saints, from which the city takes its name.

Free stop on the boulevard of Sarandë for a cocktail in a bar with a musical atmosphere.
