The cancellation and refund structure is designed to be clear, simple and fair to both sides.
Cancellation by the Participant
If a participant voluntarily cancels their participation before departure, the €525 booking payment is non-refundable.
If the participant wishes, they may propose another person to take their place. The replacement can be made without a cancellation penalty, provided that the new participant is approved by Bledi and meets the applicable participation requirements.
In this case, the booking may be transferred to the new participant.
If the Second Payment Has Also Been Made
The second payment of €857.50 is normally made after the journey has started.
If a participant has made this payment before departure and subsequently cancels their participation, the amount is not automatically considered refundable.
If a refund is possible, it will be determined by taking into account the services and bookings made for the participant, as well as costs that cannot be recovered.
If the Pilot Project Is Not Confirmed
If the minimum of 3 participants is not reached within the applicable booking period, the Pilot Project will not take place.
In this case, all payments received from participants will be refunded in full.
If the Project Is Cancelled by the Organizer
If the Pilot Project is cancelled by the organizer for a reason within the organizer’s responsibility, all amounts paid by participants will be refunded in full.
Extraordinary Circumstances
Serious illness, accidents, extreme weather, government restrictions, natural events or other extraordinary circumstances may affect the journey.
In such cases, the situation will be assessed according to the specific circumstances and reasonably, taking into account any costs that have already been incurred or cannot be recovered.
If a Participant Leaves During the Journey
If a participant voluntarily decides to leave the journey for personal reasons or because they no longer wish to continue the experience:
they leave the group and cannot rejoin the journey later;
no refund is made at the time of departure;
the group continues the journey according to the program;
Bledi may provide reasonable assistance with arranging the participant’s departure, for example to a port, airport or suitable transportation point;
the costs of the participant’s return or onward travel are not included in the Pilot Project price.
After the journey with the group has been completed, the costs associated with the participant will be reviewed.
This may include the services used, expenses incurred for the days the participant was with the group, as well as bookings or other costs made in advance for the remaining days that cannot be recovered.
After this review, the organizer may decide to refund part of the remaining amount.
Any such refund is not guaranteed and is not determined in advance as a fixed amount or percentage.
The purpose is to determine any possible refund only after the actual costs associated with the participant have been reviewed.
If a Participant Leaves for Health Reasons
If a participant needs to leave the journey because of a health problem, the situation will be treated with particular understanding.
In such cases, the amount that may be refunded will be considered based on the days and services used, the costs incurred, and the remaining part of the journey that will no longer be used.
In such circumstances, the calculation will be made more in favour of the participant, taking into account the particular circumstances and the principle of mutual understanding.
Bledi will provide reasonable assistance in arranging the participant’s departure. However, he cannot leave the group to accompany the participant throughout their entire return journey.
Return travel costs remain the responsibility of the participant and, where applicable, their travel insurance.
If an Activity Is Changed
If an activity cannot take place due to weather or other extraordinary circumstances, it may be moved, changed or replaced with another suitable activity.
A change or replacement of an activity does not automatically create a right to a refund.
The aim is for the experience to continue as safely and appropriately as possible.
A Simple Principle
This structure is not designed to penalize participants.
It is designed to maintain a balance between flexibility for participants and the costs involved in organizing a small and personalized journey.
The Pilot Project also includes a significant 30% discount personally subsidized by Bledi. For this reason, no specific refund amount can be promised in advance when a participant voluntarily decides to leave the journey.
Where a refund is possible, it will be determined after the journey has been completed and the relevant costs have been reviewed.
The principle is simple: to be clear with each other and to handle every situation with fairness and mutual understanding.
Note on the Website System
The booking and payment process will be managed through the WordPress website and an appropriate booking/payment system.
The system should support:
the initial €525 payment;
booking confirmation;
checking the minimum of 3 and maximum of 8 participants;
automatically closing bookings when 8 participants are reached;
the €857.50 Second Payment through the Second Payment option;
recording and processing refunds according to the organizer’s decision.
The system automates objective processes; cases requiring individual assessment and a refund decision are handled by Bledi.
